Yes, I would say that may make more sense for now until the traffic builds up, but we are going to be on it from here on out! Trying to build a much bigger following, everything is in place just need to get some eyes on it
I'm thinking that the more traffic improves, the more demand for those areas will come. Shoot if anything, I'm glad there's so many suggestions since so many people are eager for more stuff.
I'd say start simple it's easier to add later then overwelm everyone and have too much too many catagories. It's hard to follow on this format as is
Since everythings on a seperate page there can be activity that goes unnoticed this group is on one page , then the home page then the domestic tech then the import tech ect ect each group has a seperate page , most forums would have each section on the home page and show that thee are new posts ect
"On action "Add Comment Click" set focus to the comment box... Clicking into it after clicking 'comment' slows the user down!
you mean instead of clicking comment have the box open alreday?
No... that'll take up too much space probably... I mean, click on 'comment' and have the cursor focus (blinking cursor) inside the comment box so I can just start typing... I'm on Chrome and it's not working like that. I click comment, then have to click in the box to type, then have to click "add"... 3 steps that should be 2... or even 1... enable "enter" to comment maybe? I dunno lol
Great! FYI - The email I got that said Sean posted a comment on mine within this group... Did not trigger a notification...
Andd..... if you wanna get real fancy "Rashad Woods" posted a new comment in the "YourWhip.com" Group would be a great notification... it only has to trigger once, i.e. since last login did anyone post in a group that this user is a member of...
Of course... The group notification is working for emailing though... so not sure about doubling up or not...
Okay yes, I see group join notification, but not group post notification. I think maybe that should be a notification and not an email, cause most users prob never check their email. I never check my email where my Facebook stuff goes
